Lois E. Jones Obituary
The memory of Lois E. Jones of Mahomet, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Harold Bodeen and Lois Bodeen; her parents-in-law, Howard and Bernice Jones; and her great-niece Shawna Durst.
She is survived by: her husband Philip Jones; her sons, Brad Jones (Sara) and Tim Jones (Michelle); her grandchildren, Tony (Kahla), Morgan (Tyler), Brook (Maria), Gray, Quentin, Myles, Pearl, Beau and Jediah; her great grandchildren, River, Dottie, Isla and Eden; and her sisters, Shari MacFarlane and Anne Durst (Pete).
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mahomet United Methodist Church (1302 E South Mahomet Rd, Mahomet, IL 61853). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lois's name to the Mahomet Helping Hands Food Pantry.
