Louis leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Louis’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Louis will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lucius D'Urso and Ida D'Urso; his wife Teresa Specht; his children, Joe D'Urso, Nick D'Urso (Jennifer), Jack D'Urso (Tahlya), Luke D'Urso (Tessa) and Brooke D'Urso; and his sisters, Anita Sullivan and Lorrie Whitaker. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center Mahomet Chapel (1102 Churchill Rd, Mahomet, IL 61853). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
