We announce the death of Maureen E. Bauman of Mahomet, Illinois, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 82. Maureen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Maureen will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Maureen’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fay Fergusson and Ethel Fergusson; and her husband John Bauman. She is survived by: her sons, Skip and Richard; and her siblings, Sonny Fergusson (Bobbi) of Champaign and Sue Eroh (Lyle) of Clovis, CA.. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as two nephews.
Memorials can be made to any organization that benefits children, as that was always her primary focus in life.
