She was predeceased by : her parents, William O. Lawrence and Alice G. Lawrence (Fletcher); her husband Carrol Grammer; her children, Lawrence Andrew Grammer and Carroljane "C. J." Grammer; and her siblings, Wilma G. Vosburgh, Sue Phelps, Elaine Johnson and Billy Lawrence.

She is survived by : her adoptive son Ben (Jewell Cross); and also, Seranna of Makanda, Mara Jane of Makanda and Emma Joan Cross of Makanda.
