He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Voss and Esther Voss; his sisters, Rose Logdson, Pauline Allsopp and Eileen Stone; and his daughter Paula Dewitt.
He is survived by: his wife Frances E. Voss of Makanda, IL; his brother Edwin Voss (Theresa) of The Villages, FL.; Diana Morgan (Dwight) of Denver, CO, Sheri Garascia (David) of Sesser, IL and Wendy Wells (Jason) of Boston, MA. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blue Funeral Home (1704 N Court St, Marion, IL 62959). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Marion, IL, in Marvin's memory.
