He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert McGinnis and Catherine McGinnis (Maloney); and his brother Norbert "Danny" McGinnis. He is survived by: his wife Kaye; his sons, Troy McGinnis (Jennifer) and Tim McGinnis; his granddaughter Cali McGinnis; and his siblings, Jerry McGinnis (Linda) of Jacksonville, David McGinnis (Nancy) of Jacksonville, Ken (Ann) of East Lansing, Michigan and Mary Sue Blank (Bob) of Columbia, Illinois. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
