With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald L. Duranto of Manhattan, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2026 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Joan "Jonie" Duranto; his parents, Joseph Duranto and Ruth Maute; his stepmother Margaret Duranto; and his siblings, Jack N. Duranto, R'Lee Hedden and Patricia Medin.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Traser (Scott) of Macomb, IL, Elizabeth Vanderhyden (Ronald Sr.) of Diamond, IL, Mary Susan Fisher (Thomas) of Noblesville, IN, Amy Joanne Brandolino (Anthony) of Braidwood, IL and John Charles Duranto (Amy) of Kokomo, IN. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
