With sadness, we share the passing of Sherman Lee Hansen of Manhattan, Illinois. Sherman, born on January 9, 1956, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman and Betty; his in-laws, Bob and Barbara Bray; and his sisters-in-law, Debby Bray and Cathy Schrolucke (Bray).
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his daughter JoAnne Smith (Matt); his grandchildren, Sadie, Fiona and Henry; his brother Larry (Mandy); and his brothers-in-law, Rob, Mike, Steve Bray (Paula) and John Schrolucke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forsythe Gould Funeral Home (507 S State St, Manhattan, IL 60442). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (15800 W Manhattan Rd, Manhattan, IL 60442).
