It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Lee Burch of Manito, Illinois, who passed away on May 15, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burch and Sedona Burch; and his siblings, Tom, Lucille, Stella, Bill and Art.
He is survived by: his former wife Judy Lasley; his sons, Jerry, Terry (Naomi), Ed and Matt; his wife Linda Long (Schmitgall); his stepdaughters, Shannon Cox (Brian) and Tobi Sondag (Mark); his grandchildren, Michelle Havens, Hannah Burch, Melody Burch, Wesley Green, Whitney Hurst (Dylan), Nathan Sondag (Khylee), Matthew Sondag and Alyssa Sondag; his stepgranddaughters, Bobbie Cox and Brittany Eson (Karl); his great grandchildren, Paxton, Addison, Bennett Hurst, Kyren, Milo Sondag, Mason, Blake, Jaxon Youngren and Avery Barnes; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Rachel Darling, Jeremy Darling, Theo Eson and Oliver Eson; and his great great grandchild Rosalie Youngren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Henry's honor to the Milo Sondag Fund to help cover medical expenses for his grandson as he meant the world to him.
