She was predeceased by: her mother Emma Gent; her husband Donald Keith Christensen; her son Kevin Dean Thomas; and her stepchildren, Scott Christensen and Christy Bushong.

She is survived by: her children, Roger Thomas (Karen) of Manito and Rhonda Woiwode (Kirk) of Manito; her grandchildren, Cortney (Shauna), Cuyler (Bree), Cain (Alexis), Aaron (Kristen), Jared (Sara), Heather (John), Amanda (Andrew), Rusty (Emily) and Leah (Derrick); her stepgrandchildren, Tara, Sara (Alan), Nathan (Kara), Andrew and Heidi; her daughter-in-law Patricia Meyer-Hedrick; and her stepson-in-law Mike Bushong. She is also survived by thirty great-grandchildren.
