He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Herrman and May Ellen Savage; his brother Steve Herrman; his brothers-in-law, Allen Freed and Jerry Peplow; and his niece Mary Beth Peplow.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Peplow; his children, Carson Herrman (Brooke) of Manito and Angela Crum of Manito; his grandchildren, Kayleigh and Kallie; his sister Janet Freed of Green Valley; his siblings-in-law, Danny Peplow (Bonnie) and Becky Peplow; and his sibling's children, Erin Meyer (Wyatt), Patti Massaglia (Jason), Cary Peplow (Carrie Ann) and Jimmy Freed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greater Peoria Honor Flight.
