She is survived by: her husband Roy Schmedeke of Manito, IL; her daughter Irene Knous (Zach) of Oakford, IL; her grandchildren, Casey Clyde Gene Knous and Adalynne Mae Knous; and her former husband Kevin Lascelles.

Her loving spirit and kindness carried on through her generous act of organ donation – giving the gift of life to others.
