With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Onedia Rushing of Manito, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Hazel Tucker; her daughter Debbie; her husband Gilbert Rushing; and her grandson Jason Theuninck. She is survived by: her sister Betty Joe Anderson (Tucker) of Memphis; her sons, Tracy Rushing (Jeanna) of Moline and Trenton Rushing of Manito; her grandsons, Jeremy Rushing (Ashley) of Cottage Grove and Ray Gordon of Belleville; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Wulf of Davenport, Genesis and Gabriela Rushing of Cottage Grove. She is also survived by several cousins and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Maas Hurley Funeral Home - Manito (301 S Washington St, Manito, IL 61546). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
