With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald George Nichols Sr. of Manito, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo G. and Mary J. Nichols (Carpenter); and his siblings, Donna Phillips and Thomas "Tommy" Nichols. He is survived by: his children, Brandy Engelhardt (Steve) of Quitman, Trisha Warren (Eric Marquez) of Aurora, Ronald Nichols, Jr. (Rebecca) of Manito and Jason Nichols (Kamila) of Montgomery; his grandchildren, Alexis, Joey, Mercedes, Olivia, Haley, James, David, Nathan, Ronald "Ronnie" III, Natalie, Kate, Elora, Samuel, Kinga, Zosia and Lukasz; his great grandchildren, Addison, Elijah and Ember; and his siblings, Joanne Roop (Michael), Lenny Nichols (Rose) and Mike Nichols (Paula).
