William Burke Obituary

We announce the death of William Burke of Manito, Illinois, who passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 65. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Della Burke and Brown Burke; his sister Connie Hayes; his grandson Steven Adam Whisler Jr.; his son Daniel Coonfer; and his uncle Jerry Collier.

He is survived by: his wife Vicki Burke; his children, Brandon Burke (Lindsey), Brittany Whisler (Adam), Nicole Mefford (John) and Kathryn Smith; his grandchildren, Chance, Mason, Liam, William, Tony, Lucas, Jaekob, Izabella, Natalee, Jayce, Jacob and Emmalyn; his sisters, Cathy Talley (Tom) and Donna Burke; and his aunt Fran Collier. He is also survived by his niece, nephew, and cousins.
