It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara A. Loewig of Manteno, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry King and Marie King; and her sisters, Candy, Pat, Marge and Harriett.

She is survived by : her husband Kurt Loewig of Manteno; her children, Kurt Von Loewig (Kim) of Manteno, Anne Persson (Nicholaus) of Manteno and Wendy Widdowson (Don) of Manteno; her sister Carol Krueger of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Brandon Persson, Cameron Persson, Brittnay Schmid, George Widdowson, Steven Widdowson, Josh Widdowson and Jasmine Loewig; and her great grandchild Ariana Schmid.
