He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray McElhiney and Virginia McElhiney (Mahoney); his aunt Louise; and his uncle Hugh. He is survived by : his children, Monty McElhiney (Sue) and Gina Jackson (Roger); his sister Joyce Fogle; his grandchildren, Megan and Kaytlin; his great grandchildren, Lilly and Bella; his nephew Brit Fogle; and his nieces, Cheryl Clarke and Gayle Farrington. He is also survived by 6 great nieces and nephews; 4 great-great nieces and nephews.
