He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Dermody and Elizabeth L. Dermody (Todd); his son Brian Dermody; and his brother James Dermody. He is survived by: his daughter Erin; his son-in-law Jason Cannon of Braidwood; his sister Jane; his brother-in-law Rich Zinanni of Bourbonnais; his grandchildren, Caylee Dermody, Isla Cannon and Christian Hickey; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Dermody (Angela), Edward Dermody (Tami), Jim Dermody (Maureen), Lisa Kleinert (Bret), Romeo Panozzo (Christy) and Kathy Jordan (Corey).
