We announce the death of Donna J. Farmer of Manteno, Illinois, who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel J. Whalen and Ruby J. Jenkins Whalen; and her brother Dennis Michael Whalen. She is survived by: her husband Dale Farmer of Manteno; her daughters, Mindy Farmer (Gary LaMore) of Manteno and Cindy Sells (Ross) of Bradley; her siblings, Lynn Pearce (Jerry) of Manteno, Pat Whalen (Pam) of Manteno and Joel Whalen (Kim) of Florida; her grandchildren, Lauren Pflugradt (Rob) and Matt Bagby; and her great grandchildren, Penelope Bagby, Piper Pflugradt and Cooper Pflugradt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manteno - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (291 N Main St, Manteno, IL 60950). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (207 S Main St, Manteno, IL 60950).
