He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilbur Monk and Cecelia Monk (Grzegorek). He is survived by : his wife Norma Monk of Manteno; his children, Andy Monk (Jenny) of Manteno and Erin Trader (Tim) of Sterling; his sisters, Audrey Mallard (Harvey) of North Carolina and Marilyn Pfeiffer (Dale) of Bonfield; and his grandchildren, Madie McCormick (Connor) of Manteno, Gracie Trader of Queen Creek, AZ, Carson Monk of Manteno, Emma Trader of Sterling and Cooper Monk of Manteno. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Manteno United Methodist Church.
