He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Vitale and Nona Vitale (Olsen); and his brother Charles Vitale. He is survived by: his wife Sharon F. Vitale of Manteno; his children, Jack DeVine (Laura) of Lowell, Shelby DeVine of Manteno, Vicki Morse (Bob) of St. Anne, Jamey Vitale of Manteno and Chris Vitale (Stacy) of Minnetonka, MN; and his brother Bill Vitale of Homewood. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
