She was predeceased by : her parents, Adolph Holstein and Ruth Holstein (Symons); and her sister Joan Prin (Jack Emmons). She is survived by : her children, Cheryl Emmons of Mt. Vernon, IL, Karen Emmons of Newtonville, MA and David of Fon du Lac, WI; and her grandson Max Posner.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joyce's name to benefit the ALIVE Literacy Program, at the Kankakee Community College Foundation.
