Karen Marie Nelson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Marie Nelson of Manteno, Illinois, who passed away on June 27, 2025 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Melvin, Betty Schnell, Nelson and Ceil (Shane). She is survived by: her parents, Terry Schnell and Jeanne Schnell; her brother Brian of Bradley; and her children, Bryce Nelson of Manteno, Christina Nelson of Manteno and Shane Nelson of Dumas, Texas. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up in the children's names at National Bank of Manteno to help with their futures.
