He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Schouten and John Schouten; his wife Dorothy L Schouten; his son Vincent James; and his siblings, Mary, Phyllis and David.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin, Gwen, Christine and Ted; and his granddaughter Jenn Laurenti (Drew Laurenti).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown-Jensen Funeral Home (21 N Main St, Manteno, IL 60950). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (207 S Main St, Manteno, IL 60950).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
