It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Carr of Manteno, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Luke F. Carr and Cecil Carr (Giles); his wife Rosemary Rita Murphy; his son William Carr; his brother James L. Carr; and his daughter-in-law Nadeen Carr.

He is survived by : his sons, Phillip J. Carr (Elizabeth) of St. John, IN and Ronald Carr (Ruthann) of Tinley Park; his daughter-in-law Janice Carr of Tinley Park; and his niece Maureen Carr. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.

The inurnment was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
