With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Kerouac of Manteno, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Kerouac and Marie Kerouac (Tourangeau). He is survived by: his wife Joanne Kerouac of Manteno; his children, Michael Kerouac of San Diego, Patti Umphrey (Woody) of Bourbonnais and Shari Schmahl (Don) of Bettendorf, IA; his stepchildren, Brian Ninis of Marion and Julie Ninis (James Nichols) of Durango, CO; his sister Barbara Nowman of Manteno; and his grandchildren, Richard Kerouac, Chad Kerouac (Zoe), Aimee Link (Eric), Lindsey Patterson (Greg), Jodi Sitkowski (Ray), Kaitlyn Grothus (Nick), Karlee Heimendinger (Andy), Jared Fromknecht, Zac Greenburg and Clif Wayman. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914).
