He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heppe and Ruby Heppe (Johnson); his siblings, Marge Cote and George Heppe; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Curl and Dennis Curl.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Heppe of Manteno; his sons, Mark Heppe (Jeanette) of Manteno and Rory Heppe (Jessica) of Crestwood; his siblings, Nancy Fisher (Dean) of Manteno, Linda Martin of Watseka, Bob Heppe of Mt. Vernon and Norman Heppe (Helen) of Bourbonnais; his grandchildren, Tyler Heppe, Ryan Heppe and Kyle Heppe; his siblings-in-law, Edward Curl, Mary Ann Curl, Sharon Howard, Marybeth Curl and Betty Curl; and also Maverick.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Manteno United Methodist Church (255 W 2nd St, Manteno, IL 60950). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
