He was predeceased by: his nephew Joe Meitl (Taylor); his in-laws, William and Anita Wriske; his brother-in-law Keith Wriske; his brother Roger Semmerling; and his parents, Walter Semmerling and Jacque Semmerling.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Semmerling; his children, Curtis Semmerling and Amber Signorella (Brian); his grandchildren, Ella and Abby; and his nieces and nephews, Brian Madl (Sarah), Candace Madl, Jarret Kacirek (Samantha), Joshua Kacirek, Anita Hartman (Seth), Keith Meitl, Kevin Meitl (Kaitrin), Karl Meitl, James Meitl, Ashley Wriske and Billy Wriske.
