He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar C. Guppy and Maida F. Guppy (Karsjens); his wife Elizabeth Bergman; his siblings, Edgar Guppy III and Marge Rhoads; and his grandchildren, Justin and Jill Guppy.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Guppy Jr. (Debra) of Bartonville, Richard Guppy (Debra) of Bartonville, Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Thomason (Jim) of Mapleton and Jody Owen (Dave) of Mapleton; his siblings, Ron Guppy (Sandy) of Springfield and Patricia Blender of Peoria; his sisters-in-law, Martha Guppy of Bartonville, IL and Barbara Bergman of Tucson, AZ; and his close friend Joyce Broadstone of Bartonville. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
