He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Cecil, and Phyllis Cecil, Sr. (Thurman); and his cousin Katie Fears. He is survived by: his daughters, Kari Cecil of Galesburg and Leslie Jones (Kent) of Abingdon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Hayley Allison, Madison Jones and Kaden Jones; and his cousins, Bill Coykendall, Patricia Dwyer, Sharon Pray and Jody Hamby.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home - Knoxville (120 N Public Square, Knoxville, IL 61448). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
