It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene L. Ettner of Marengo, Illinois, born in Wheaton, Illinois, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her former life partner Arnold Brackmann; her husband Raymond Ettner; her sons, Robert Brackmann (Virginia), Steven Brackmann and John Brackmann; her siblings, Irene, Phyllis, Florence, LaVern and Bill; and her sister-in-law Jeanette.

She is survived by : her brothers, Donnie Winthers (Mary Lou) and Richard Winthers; and her stepchildren, Mike Ettner (Judy), David Ettner (Sharon) and Terry Ettner (Sue). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (412 Jackson St, Marengo, IL 60152). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
