It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara A Van Horn of Marengo, Illinois, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Tentler and Dorothy Tentler; and also, Joseph, Dorothy Tentler, John, Jane Van Horn, Lynn "Butch" Tentler and Pamela Rae Van Horn.

She is survived by : her sons, Mike Van Horn of Phoenix, AZ and Chris Van Horn (Kathy) of Harvard, IL; her grandchildren, Bethany Kraeplin (Kurt), Jason Foster (Corey) and Sarah Shanks (Peter); her great great grandchildren, Bradley and Braxton; her sister-in-law Judi Tentler; and also, Becca, Jacob, Jaylin, Jaxton, Riley, Regan and Eli.

The family would like to send the most heartfelt thank you to JourneyCare Hospice and encourage any memorial donations to be made to this organization. JourneyCare Hospice of Barrington 405 Lake Zurich Rd Barrington, IL 60010 Checks payable to "Hope Foundation", designate Barrington Facility.
