The family announces the passing of Catherine Bergholt of Marengo, Illinois on October 15, 2026. Catherine, born on September 21, 1954, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald C. Blank and Marion L. Blank; and her nephew Scott Blank. She is survived by: her husband Steve; her son Matthew (Melissa Bergholt); her grandsons, Christopher and Tanner; her brother Douglas Blank (Kathleen); her niece Jennifer Hecht (David); and her great-nephew Sam Hecht. She is also survived by many cousins and good, faithful friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (310 E Main St, East Dundee, IL 60118). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
