She was predeceased by: her husband Paul; her daughter Ellen; her parents, Harry Johnson and Helen Johnson; and her sister Dorothy.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Bowers (Jane) and Daniel Bowers (Stacy); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Christen, Bonnie, Keith, Miranda and Cassidy. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In 2020 a much needed vacation during covid lockdowns brought Gene to Washington State to visit family.
