It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Romer of Marengo, Illinois, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Romer and Estelle Romer. She is survived by: her husband Salvador Guedes; and her children, Allison Michelle Guedes Oba (Glenn Oba) of Highland Park, IL and Kenneth Anthony Guedes of Kalispell, MT..
