He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Cleghorn and Coelia Cleghorn; his son Steven; and his siblings, Coy, Theola, Odean, Thomas and Rodney.

He is survived by : his wife Evelyn; his sons, Neal (Karen) of St. Charles and Bradley (Rebecca) of Marengo; his grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Caleb, Rachel, Andrew, Haley and Jenna; and his sibling Floydene Rush (Allen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
