Montgomery of Marengo, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Fritsch and Rose Fritsch (McCarthy); her husband Robert Montgomery; her siblings, Patricia Wozniewski, Irenee Zuhlke and James Fritsch; her son Wayne Montgomery; and her son-in-law David Minakes.

She is survived by : her children, Brenda Meintz (Karl), Steven Montgomery (Sheri), Wendy Minakes and Nathan Montgomery (Tina); her daughter-in-law Dena Montgomery; her grandchildren, Chloe Montgomery, Kathryn Schroeder (Kamran), Emami, Kody, Kole, Kelsey Anderson (Elliott), Kaela Montgomery, Mackenzie and Nash Montgomery; her great grandchildren, Taylor Anderson and Kian Emami; and her sister Rita Mae Ahler.
