He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond LaPak and Mary LaPak (Smit); his son Jeff LaPak; and his siblings, Patricia Doman, Nancy Schaefer and Jerry LaPak.
He is survived by: his children, Kurt LaPak (Nicole) of Marengo, Tommy LaPak (Connie) of Carpentersville and Amee Manzella (Danny) of Hoffman Estates; his grandchildren, Taylor Burnham (Jessica), Aubry Johnson (Zach), Brandon LaPak (Sami), Kurt T. LaPak, Nancy LaPak, Paulie Manzella, Jake LaPak, Sonny Manzella, Aidan Roeder and Nicolas Roeder; and his great grandchild Leighton LaPak.
