He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Haag, and Elizabeth Ellis Haag, Sr. (Linn); his daughter Whitney Jones; and his sister Elizabeth Clayton (Hy). He is survived by: his wife Jane Haag; his children, Jefferson Haag (Laura), Rebecca Czerw (Joseph), William M. Haag, III, Brian Haag (Lisa) and Bethany Pollnow; and his grandchildren, Jake Perger, Lindsey Jones, Ethan Czerw, Scarlett Czerw, William Czerw, Logan Haag, Tyler Haag, Adeline Haag, Alyssa Pollnow, Aidan Pollnow and Ava Pollnow.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (323 N Taylor St, Marengo, IL 60152).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests blood donations be made to your local blood bank in remembrance of Bill's life.
