She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Barker and Lillian Lula Barker (Rollins); and her son William Howard Barnett. She is survived by: her children, Michael Barnett of Chicago, Charles Barnett (Annette) of Omaha, NE, Elsie Barnett of La Plata, MD and Beverly Barnett of Marion; her grandchildren, Porscha N. Parker (Malcolm) of Dallas, TX, TaShauna Teague (Joseph) of Marion, IL., Tiffany Barnett of Omaha, NE. and Phillip Vaughn Jr. of Brandywine, MD.; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Mary Ann Parker, William Malclom Parker, Micheal Alexander Parker, Marquez J. Lilly, Nautica L. Barnett, Matthew Joseph Parker, Jaleah Marie Teague, Giana Barnett and Ivan T. Reliford Jr.; and her great great grandchild Kyrell William Barkley. She is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Blue Funeral Home (1704 N Court St, Marion, IL 62959). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Blue Funeral Home - Marion (1704 N Court St, Marion, IL 62959).
