It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Jeffrey Shaffer of Marion, Illinois, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Shaffer and Jane M. Shaffer (Mahler); and his brother Robert Shaffer. He is survived by: his wife Frederica J. Nanni (Farris) of Marion, IL; his stepchildren, Samantha Dwyer (Dan) of Bristol, CT and Bernard R. Nanni (Joy) of Baltic, CT; his stepgrandchildren, Braydan Dwyer, Ethan Dwyer, Bernard C. Nanni, Trisha Nanni and Dade Nanni; and his sibling's children, Nicole Shaffer and Aaron Shaffer.
