She was predeceased by : her grandparents, Catherine and John Van Acker. She is survived by : her brother Joseph Henry; her fathers, Barry Acker and Ted Vesciglio-Van Acker; her brothers, Jack and Michael; her grandparents, Caroline and Robert Vesciglio; and her gestational surrogate Kristle Menozi. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles, as well as many cousins.

Memorials may be made in Caroline's honor to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School Building Fund (Herrin, Illinois).
