He is survived by: his wife Diane Brookmyer Minnick; his children, Tracie Fritcher Johnson (Lou) of Taylorville, IL, Stephanie Fritcher Sapetti of Springfield, IL, Michael Minnick of Marion, IL, David Minnick of Jacksonville, IL, Jesse Minnick (Misty) of Troy, IL and Jonathan Minnick of Herrin, IL; his grandchildren, Hope Johnson, Luc Johnson, Lea Johnson, Sydney Sapetti, Delaney Sapetti, Mikenzie Minnick, Joslyn Minnick, Jalin Atkins (Yesi), Jalah Atkins Stowers (Ethan), Austin Minnick, Kaitlyn Minnick, Gracie Minnick, Malorie Minnick and Nolan Minnick; his great grandchildren, Ian, Jensen, Molly and Baker; his sister Laura Fritcher Drnjevic (Denny) of Shelbyville, IL; and his close friends, Christa, Tina Marie and Dalton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home (2704 S Park Ave, Herrin, IL 62948). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shawnee Worship Center (105 Oliver St, Vienna, IL 62995). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manner's Park.
