With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dave Meiners of Marion, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Dave departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dave may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dave leaves behind.
He is survived by: his friend Bill W.; his wife Lee Anne Meiners; and his siblings, Diane Townsley (Mike) and Doug Peak (Judy).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home (900 N Court St, Marion, IL 62959). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
