He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald C. Rakow Sr. and June Rakow (Mains); his wife Sandy; and his siblings, Judy Benjamin, Joy Rakow (Sperry) and Dan Rakow.
He is survived by: his son Scott Rakow (Jerilyn); and his sister Joann Bolton (Mack). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
