It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ann Geittman of Marion, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Glen William and Marjorie Elizabeth Trulove (Stanley); and her close friend George Atkinson. She is survived by : her son Geoffrey W. Geittmann (Cynthia) of Marion, IL; and her granddaughter Grace Sadie Geittmann of Marion, IL. She is also survived by other extended family and many friends.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (1445 N Court St, Marion, IL 62959).

Since Elizabeth loved animals so much; for those who prefer, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to "Finding Forever" a local animal shelter.
