She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Phillips and Elizabeth "Betty" Phillips (Herring); her significant other William F. Beal; her close friend William Beal; and her siblings, Roberta Hileman, Gale Phillips and Jimmy Phillips.

She is survived by: her sons, Ron Loyd (Michelle) of Marion and Tracy Loyd (Tammy) of Greenville, SC; her grandchildren, Micaela Taylor (Matt) of Marion, Jacob McCree (Aspen) of Pittsburg and Ashley Manley (Jackson) of Cape Girardeau, MO; and her great grandchildren, Jonah Taylor, Lakynn Long and Brady McCree.
