It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Throgmorton of Marion, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson and Ester Lee Raymond (Jones); her husband Raymond Louis Throgmorton; and her siblings, H. C. Raymond, Mary Raymond, Mattie Wells, Mildred Edwards, Johnny Ralton Raymond and AnnaVee Waldon.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Throgmorton (Kathy) of Marion and Pamela Race (Lee) of Middleburg, FL; her grandchildren, Michia Boyles (Holbert), Corey Throgmorton, Sarah Race and Jessica Race; and her great grandchildren, Kyahna Kimes (Tyler), Kierra Boyles and Sofia Boyles. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
