She was predeceased by: her parents, Pleas Vinson and Ruth Vinson (Wheeler); and her former husband Frank McDannel. She is survived by: her husband Dwight Spiller of Marion; her sons, Wendell McDannel (Kimbra) of Leesburg, FL and Darrell McDannel (Julie) of Crainville, IL; her grandchildren, Chad McDannel, Portia Lindsey (Travis), Les McDannel (Kelly) and Beth-Ann Medici (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Waylon McDannel, Levi McDannel, Casey McDannel, Ryder Fore, Miles Medici, Raelyn Medici and Beckham Medici.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pyle Funeral Home (1008 W Broadway Blvd, Johnston City, IL 62951). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions be made to St. Baldrick's Foundation~Conquer Kids' Cancer in honor of Raelyn Medici. Contributions may be made online at the link provided below or envelopes will be available at the funeral home on the day of the service.
