He was predeceased by: his father Pete Davis; and his siblings, Yvonne Edmonds, Carol Edmonds, Joyce Bigham, Chris Upshaw, Edward "Eddie" Davis, Ronald and Mike Davis.
He is survived by: his mother Florine Edmonds Davis; his children, Sam Davis (Beth) of Tamms, Farel Holder of Jackson, Luann Riley (Clay) of Jackson, Jessica Drake of Marion, Michael Davis (Stephanie) of Freeman Spur and Marti Withers (Zane) of Bon Aqua, Tennessee.; and his sister Della Freeman of Wickliffe. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, a cause that was close to Grancy's heart.
